But lawyering is not only about solving complicated disputes. It’s also about prevention, clarity, and making sure things are done right before problems even arise.
Good lawyers solve big problems, but excellent lawyers prevent them from happening in the first place.
I wrote for Juridice.ro about a situation that could be prevented, yet often ends up being treated symptomatically: the exclusion of a shareholder from a company. While specific clauses could be included at the company’s incorporation, they usually aren’t—and exclusion later on is almost never a simple process.
