Lecturer at the National Institute for Training and Professional Development of Lawyers in the subject “Personal Data Protection”

The National Institute for Training and Professional Development of Lawyers (INPPA) was established based on Article 63, letter j) of Law no. 51 of June 7, 1995, for the organization and exercise of the legal profession, republished in the Official Gazette of Romania no. 113 of March 6, 2001, the provisions of the Statute of the legal profession published in the Official Gazette of Romania no. 284 of May 31, 2001, and relevant legislation.

The National Institute for Training and Professional Development of Lawyers operates as a non-governmental organization within and under the authority of the Union of Lawyers of Romania.

One of the objectives of the National Institute for Training and Professional Development of Lawyers is to create an organizational framework so that, in collaboration with the bodies of the legal profession, the obligations regarding professional training, as stipulated in Law no. 51 of June 7, 1995, for the organization and exercise of the legal profession, republished in the Official Gazette of Romania no. 113 of March 6, 2001, and the Statute of the legal profession published in the Official Gazette of Romania no. 284 of May 31, 2001, can be fulfilled. This includes ensuring the training of trainee lawyers, raising the professional level of all lawyers, and adhering to professional ethics and discipline.

Starting this year, I have become a lecturer at INPPA – Central Structure Bucharest, in the subject “Personal Data Protection,” during which time I had the great pleasure of contributing to the professional training of dozens of trainee lawyers who, after actively participating in the organized courses, graduated successfully from the Institute.
Heartfelt congratulations to the newly qualified lawyers!
